Legendary

Our club is over 60 years old! In 1959, the year of our inception, Dwight D. Eisenhower (a Republican) was president, Alaska and Hawaii had just become states, Cuba fell to communism, and the first commercial copy machine was born.

Much has changed since then, but our fight for individual freedom from forces of tyranny continues. The Birmingham RWC supports vigilance, courage and unity in confronting the challenges of our time.

Diverse (the right kind)

We have the kind of diversity you are looking for – diversity of mind. Our members are women of all ages, backgrounds, experiences and ideas. Whether you want to learn about local issues or just enjoy the company of like-minded individuals, our gatherings are an easy and convenient way to connect and grow.

We are always open to new ideas for meetings and events so please reach out with any suggestions!

Casual

Membership creates no obligation. Members are invited to all meetings and events, but are not required to attend anything in particular.
We aim to be a low-pressure, yet valuable, source of information and camaraderie (often in the context of a good happy hour). So, if you’re not a member yet, you should be!

Connected

Although small and local, we have powerful connections! As affiliates of the Republican Women’s Federation of Michigan (RWFM) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) your membership includes access to these organizations, as well as the option to be an affiliate member of our sister Republican Women’s Clubs in multiple locations around the State.
